Before First Use
Handwash in warm, soapy water with a non-abroasive sponge. Rinse and dry with a soft non-abrasive dish towel
The frök is safe on gas, ceramic, halogen, glass, electric, and induction stovetops
While fröking
Preheat your frök using the heat setting you intend to use when cooking before adding fats / oils
- We suggest using a medium heat setting and adjusting as needed
- Low to medium temperature only for ceramic coating
Coat the frök with a small amount butter or liquid based oils
- Avoid oil sprays or cooking aerosols to preserve the coating
All utensils are safe to use, but we recommend wood, silicone, plastic, or nylon to preserve the coating. If you’re using metal, we only recommend spatulas, spoons, and whisks
- Do not use metal utensils in froks with Ceramic coating
-
Do not use metal utensils or appliances to cut, chop, or release foods in the frök
The frök is oven safe up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit without the lid and 350 degrees Fahrenheit with the lid When placing and removing your frök in the oven use an oven mitt, potholder or dishtowel as the handles will be hot
After fröking
After cooking allow the frök to cool completely before washing. Immersing a hot pan in cold water will cause warping We recommend handwashing only with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Dry immediately with a soft non-abrasive dish towel
Storage
Store flat in a single layer in your cupboard or hang on a pot rack. If stacking place towels between pan surfaces to minimize contact
